Back Ground |
Counterfeiting of educational certificates has been one of the major concerns and cross verification and authentication of the certificates has been a tedious and long drawn process. In spite of the conventional security features for the paper, mass inspection & verification of the certificates does not prevail so far.
Human error, intentional mishandling, lack of automatic process, traceability and loss of information in times of disaster, etc. make it difficult to guard against fraud.

TrueBIT in association with SEMCO has developed a unique and innovative, three tier architecture which addresses the basic aspects of any document.

The State-of-the-Art Cost-effective technology physically engraves photograph of a student directly onto an exclusively manufactured Special Synthetic Resin Paper (A Patented technology from SEMCO) to create the high security watermark; and permits printing of any other design pattern on this special paper even with the conventional printing process.
The negative watermark will turn to positive image when light shines through it.
This technology is highly précised and patented (Japanese Company) so impossible to replicate.
If fiddled with mild chemical it destroys itself .

| Durability |

The media is water proof, tamper proof and does not need lamination, and is much more durable than ware and tear of a paper medium.

| Verification |
By naked eye inspection authenticity can be established. The negative water mark will turn positive when held against light.
With the help of unique registration number and Web Access Key all the details can be seen on the web portal of the university.

| E.I.E.S. System Creates the Future with a Global Outlook |

The E.I.E.S. (Electronic Image Engraving Security) System is a system to prevent forgery through the use of specially processed paper to engrave letters and images on certificates and cards.
Using the precision engraving technology perfected by SEMCO Corporation, a single page of Synthetic Resin Paper is used to insert the engraved watermark image and photograph into the original certificate by means of a unified printing process. SEMCO's Synthetic Resin Paper has identical dimensions and thickness as other types of paper, without any uneven or rough surfaces. Accordingly, it is possible for SEMCO's E.I.E.S System to interface with other photographic information management systems, including with other computer terminals.

The E.I.E.S System engraves images directly onto the surface of certificates or cards, so it is impossible to counterfeit the documents made by this system. Without any special tool or equipment, the E.I.E.S System enables a quick visual check of the watermarking image as a reliable personal identification method.
